Kaushal K Srivastava started my academic career as a Lecturer in Physics, Patna University, in 1967. During the past forty years I have worked at Universities in India, Australia, Britain, and the United States; and finally retired from Bhagalpur University (Bihar) after serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Physics for many years. Post-retirement he settled in Melbourne, Australia, and attached to a local university on a part-time basis. Besides his engagement with Science he has taken up writing in Hindi and English as his passion and hobby. During this phase he has reflected upon the emerging social and cultural themes in a global world; and those images are reflected in his writings.
